i did a search and also posted on the speaker forum but got no help over there. i'm trying to build a 5.1 system with my sda1's which i think are the c version.(the connecting cable uses one pin and one blade) i was thinking of purchasing a csi5 for the center and rti4's for the rear. would these be a good match? if not what speakers would you recomend? thank you for any and all input.

    Hi Jerude -

    Welcome to the Forums!

See if this link helps you out a bit http://www.polkaudio.com/education/showanswer.php?question_num=63

I have used the CSi5 with both SDA1b's and SRS 2's to decent effect (currently using it with the SRS 2's). I believe your other choice is the LSiC, but I haven't had the chance to listen to that one. There should be some threads on CSi5 vs. LSiC if you search.

My surrounds are Monitor 30's, and while they will suffice, I think they are one of the weaker links in my 5.1 system.

Of course your mileage may very.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

As Chris mentions, the LSi series of speakers probably would also be a good match.

Here's a link in which Matt Polk answered a similar question I had with regard to matching speakers to SDA-1Cs.

    Timbre Match for SD1-1Cs

I use the CS400I as my center channel and I think it is a good match for the SDA 1C's. Find some SDA2's for the rears and you'll have a perfect match
in your left and right speakers.
That's my system and I love it!
