Currently my system looks like this:
1)RT800ix2 Front---soon to be biamp---
2)CS400i center ---biamp--- *This forum taught me how*
3)PSW350 Sub "I'm not real happy with this sub"-- I may want to upgrade. currently using sub out
4)RTA8T for surround left and right.

Electronics
H/K AVR520
Outlaw 770 "7 Channels @ 200W/Chn
Cal Lab CL20 DVD
RCA direct TV "Digital Dolby"
Zenith Hi-Fi VCR for the Blues Clues "I'd like to hang Steve"
Old but OK 32" Tube Zenith may upgrade at the end of the year to a 47 or grater widescreen.

I'm considering bi-pole/di-pole option for surround and moving my RTA8T for 7 channel Stereo or HK Logic 7 surround.

Any and all suggestions are welcomed. Any Modification or suggestions are also welcomed. I have tried to learn as much as possible from other sources but found this forum is the best plus entertaining.

Regards
Henry

First, start a mancave. Use the RTa8's in it.

Second, I'll let the HT guys address the rear's..... (and remember guys, the RTA8's are OUT of the picture now.....)

    Cheers,

Try the FX30 for your surround speakers and use direct radiating speakers for your rear speakers.

I could spare up the 3rd bedroom! I'll ask my wife, eeeks! she may hold back some hall passes if I'm not careful!

Remember, it's not a 'man-cave' when you talk to her about it. Call it an 'audio room', or better yet a 'relaxation/biofeedback room'......maybe she likes to read, then go for 'library'....

You could always play the NON-TV room angle.......that plays well to the mom's who think TV is what's wrong with society...

A mancave is worth a night or two on the sofa in the long run. That's what I did, spare bedroom, viola.
