Something reminded me of this from another thread and I'd be interested in seeing how much the forums have helped people here. List the gear you have received from someone here and list as many polkies as you can who owned that exact piece:

Adcom SLC-505: George Grand => BDT => Russman
Scott Nixon/Analog Design CDP: Russman
IC's: Tributaries: Russman, Knu-Cable piersol or PT?
Adcom 565: Dorokusai
Knight Monoblocks: Russman
ADS 550: Dorokusai
SPUD amp: Russman
Counterpoint SA-100: BlueMDPicker
Onkyo AVR from, uh, someone... (I have to look it up)

I think that's about it that I have from members here. which is pretty much everything in my system except my LSi's, Maggies, and SVS
There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

    Well....

    B & K Components AV-5125 5-Channel Amp - Dorokusai
Polk Audio RT600i Mains - Zero
Polk Audio LSiC Center - P. HUNT

I bought a remote from Doro, as well as a ton of other small time items. Too bad that little seller list doesn't actually reflect all of the good purchases and sales I have had with the good members here at Club Polk.

I'm sure LSi9s, and LSi15s will be added to that list by years end.

I bought three of my Outlaw M200 amps from a CP member, however I can't remember who it was.

Adcom GFA 545 II from Dave Shephard. I think it belonged to someone else on the forum before I bought it from him.

Well, I certainly don't have a massive list, by any means, but there goes...

    ASL Wave 8: RuSsMaN
Rotel RCD-02: not purchased from CP member, but Zero hooked me up with the seller
    Parasound P/HP-850: ohskigod
    ASL Wave 20: hoosier21, RuSsMaN
    Yamaha KX-W900U: dorokusai

I have no idea who had those pieces before the person from whom I bought them, but I'd love to see just where they've come from.

Your Wave 20 mono's were Hoosier21's (Russ Abernathy) first.

Mark, yours went to Noel (ND13).

The Radii 6BM8 amp went back and forth, I think Lou has it now?

AB, Gary modded the Wave 8's. The circuit on the 20 isn't worth messing with.

Steve - Correct. My first SDA was in fact those very SDA1C. If you ever move them down the road, just consider them back here. I miss those ****.

If I ever decide to part with them....they will go right back up I-81 to you. There is not a better pair of SDA 1Cs available anywhere. These are that good.

    I love 'fireplace' shots.

Got 'em out in the room a bit too, kudos. You CAN place SDA flat on the back wall, but I think they sound so much better out where they can breathe.

My two channel rig consists of a Sunfire amp I purchased from madmax, SRS-2's that I purchased from RuSsMaN, a modified Tosh 3950 DVD that madmax helped me modify, and a Dodd ELP that I purchased new with the "Club Polk discount" (thanks to RuSsMaN, and right now it's running some Amperex 6DJ8's, again, thanks to Russ)

Other assorted gear I have that came from Forum members include a Sony CD changer, from dorokusai (a very cool karma item), an AMC 1100 preamp that came from Russman, a Technics CD player also from Russman, a Carver C1 that came from someone on here. Oh, and LSi7's that I purchased from brettw22. And a Pioneer tuner from warlocks1.

That's all I can remember for sure. What's even more important is all the wisdom and advice that's been available on this forum over the past 6 years or so. I like to think that I've absorbed some of it. I can truly say that if it were not for this forum, I would not know good sound (and probably would have more money). Thanks!
