Clearing Google search memory

Is there a way to clear the automatic drop down box on Google's search window? You know, you're starting to type in "Polk" in the search block, and first every search you've done that starts with "p" comes up, then all the ones with "po", etc.

I know you can do it on Explorer, but that doesn't affect Google. There has to be a stored file SOMEWHERE....

Thanks

Click on the google name by the search area, hit clear history. This is for the google toolbar.

I'm pretty sure there is an option within the IE/firefox settings that will allow you to disable this option.

I believe what you're talking about is under Tools/Internet Options/Content/AutoComplete Settings-this is for IE. You can clear forms such as the search boxes, or clear passwords with the other option.

Dang, "anal" is with two A's?? No wonder I kept getting dictionary sites.
