Together with the CS400i speakers in my other posting, I am also selling my trusted Sayton Titanic MKII subwoofer in excellent as new condition. Had the plate amp replaced just a month ago as there was something wrong with the original amp. Got it replaced under warranty.

Live in an apartment so the woofer has never been tested or driven hard. Externaly it looks like a million bucks....well, maybe not that much but the kit lists for $350 and the finished product for $500 on PartsExpress.

I want $140 firm

Smoke-free and pet-free home, with no small children.

Add shipping from AZ 86323 and the weight is 33 lbs each speaker. I think the weight is about 40 lbs I think from just lifting it up, but maybe someone here knows the exact weight and would care to list it for me. The sub is also packaged and ready to ship so no photos but in perfect condition.

Money order and checks are ok. Don't use paypal. Like with the CS400i speakers, I will give you your money back if not 100% satisfied.

As I have said to you on numerous emails, you will be provided a refund should the sub not show up by USPS during the next few days. I have yet to locate its exact location, but working hard on trying to find it for you.

Just for information....I received the computer and accessories I bought from francis1967. Also, the paperwork wasn't properly done so one of the 2 packages was delayed at customs. Perhaps your sub has a similar issue. I would also imagine that it is easier tracking a package with UPS rather than USPS. In any case, I hope you get your sub soon.

Just as an impartial observer, I think the onus is on Fancis1967 to make that phone call.

Per Fancis1967 a few posts back - over a week ago ... "As I have said to you on numerous emails, you will be provided a refund should the sub not show up by USPS during the next few days. I have yet to locate its exact location, but working hard on... "

Nothing since. Fancis1967 cashed the check a long time ago. Personally, I would feel a great sense of obligation to make things right with this deal. I have dealt with others in the Flea Market and they all went further than this to ensure the product was delivered and satisfactory.

    Just my 2 cents.

Agreed, the onus is on him....but in this case he needs a wake-up call.

My check for a CS400i was cashed by francis1967 more than a month ago. As I understand it, my speaker is with anonymouse. He has sought confirmation from francis to send it along to me, which I certainly respect.

At this point, I've paid for, but have not received the goods after a month. I plan on contacting francis today regarding a refund as well.

If Amouse has the 400, he should go ahead and send it to Ahorvitz. That's one problem out of the way.

hey Mouse, did you ever get a tracking number for this thing? I'd say at this point, either UPS has a lost package, or they would know where it is by now, i.e. its being forwarded to you.

also, maybe talk to Isig to see if he has a phone number, if you don't allready have it.

It doesn't make sense, I just got the computer from him, if his intentions were to scam folks, he would have made his one big scam and I would have been included. Something is going on with him, wasn't he getting a divorce? Have you tried calling him? I do have his cell number if you need it.

    UPDATE!!!

I got a call today from the Chino Valley, AZ police department. I spoke with a detective there who is investigating Mike's (francis1967) recent Audiogon and eBay dealings where he has failed to deliver the goods.

On the bright side (for Sheldon and I), they found a box outside his former residence that was addressed to me, returned as undeliverable by UPS (I provided a shipping address, but the package was sent to my old address still on my check). In the box- anonymouse's subwoofer. I've called anon to work out the rest, and get our pieces where they should be.

The detectives working the case believe that Mike reeled in some quick cash through A-gon and eBay and has left the country.

anon- if you read this before you check voice mail, please call me. My cell number is in your pm's.

Wow, I knew something shaky was going on in the computer deal. Glad that one worked out for those involved. This is pretty big. Good luck guys....

I am not so sure as to the truth of that story. He could easily have ripped me off for $600 (computer-packaging-shipping) and I'd have little recourse, being in Canada. Plus, there was an attempted delivery of another package but the wrong info was on the box.

If his intent was to grab as much money as he could and run, I would have never received the computer and he would never have boxed the sub. No, something else is going on.

Looks like his account has been suspended over at Audiogon...

I hope all turns out well... not only for those involved in his numerous dealings, but for him as well.

You're right... it's just that all of this seems so bizarre. Some individuals getting their merch.... crisscrossed addys. A pulled Agon account and a call from a detective.

none of it really makes sense

It looks like he didn't try to burn anyone here, thankfully, but clearly his A-gon dealings are questionable if buyers have contacted police. It seems that anonymouse and I will be fine, though we'll both end up paying some additional shipping.

    Polksters,

I will shed my side of this story, I contacted francis about 2 items for sale that he had on Audiogon, even though I went to the site and they were marked sold he was willing to work out a deal as he was moving acroos country because of a pending divorce. The total would have been 2000.00 in the form of a MO. I e-mail some people on the Audiogon site and they said he was bad news. A couple of days ago I sent anyomouse a PM relating his bad feed back on Audiogon. I didn't post it here because I did not have all the details of the deals that were going on, my bad. Alot of people can run but they can't hide. I suspect he got the money from the Audiogon sales and split.

I have a feeling that he had a soft spot for CP forum members and preferred to screw Audigon buyers instead. Although for an extra 2 grand he would have made an exception with criverajr. I hope I'm wrong though. And I guess I am lucky to get my computer from him.

Bottom line (as if you haven't deduced thsi already)- don't deal with Francis1967.

My 400i is en route from anonymouse and should arrive tomorrow. He's a stand up guy and I appreciate his patience while I was trying to contact Francis re: payment to fix his shipping screw up. Francis had no interest in fixing his mistakes, and based on what I've learned since, regarding his A-gon deals gone bad, I'm glad to have anything at all en route to me.

anonymouse and I are both out some additional shipping. F--- Francis1967.
