Really a great center. It was the missing link in my RTA-8T based HT setup. Excellent sound quality and firm anchor on the center. Nice price as well. Good luck with your sale!

Hello, If anybody can answer this, what is the difference between the cs245i and the cs300, the drivers seem to be identical. Thanks

The 300 has the Power Port and is a little larger. I liked mine so much I got rid of my 400 and went to the 300.

Yes, I did find one but thanks for the offer. I actually ended up selling it a few months later when I found a good deal on a 400i. I quite enjoyed the 300, just couldn't pass up this deal (sold the 300 for $100 and bought the 400 for $75!). So for now I am happy with the 400, buuut, since I am always looking to upgrade:smile: I have been watching for a 3000P. Just missed one on eBay...got outbid at last sec but for $410 it was still a good deal. Maybe next time! Pls let me know if anyone has one for sale.

Ah very nice 20hz, gotta love ebay/craigslist! Performance wise, I do notice a slightly fuller mid-to-low range output from the 400, but nothing too dramatic. I was hesitant at first as the 400i uses the newer, Dynamic Balance silk-dome tweeter and the rest of my system purposely has the Tri-Laminate domes. But just a few small EQ and speaker calibration tweaks gives the center a nearly perfect timbre match. Good luck with your build!

Snydes, I have seen the 350 go anywhere from $50-$150 on eBay, just depends on the condition. But if you are looking to sell, I would do it sooner rather than later. The demand for the older CS models is starting to fall off even though they are wonderful speakers for the money. If you love it and it matches your system, I'd just hold on to it at this point. If not, try eBay for the highest selling price.

I finally tracked down a xover now I can build up the cs300 mains , I cant bring myself to sell the cs300 it sounds just too nice , it sure is heavy feels like 30+ lbs !
I would have stuck to matching tri-lams on the front stage that tweeter really gives a nice presence , I dont know to many folks that can EQ the center w/out that EQ effecting the rest .
I built my monster sub and got a qsc GX5 to run it .
Now the bigger TV is not center ch friendly so I gotta find a way to hide that cabinet , if its not one thing its another !!
