remote turn-on

I currently have a adcom 555II amp and 500 preamp. I have little ones(Kids) in the house so my equipment is in a audio rack with a glass door. My wife wants to be able to turn-on the equipment without openning the door. Anyway to achieve this? I noticed that even the newer adcom stuff does not have trigger inputs.

    Most power conditioners from Panamax, Monster, etc., will have swithched outlets that allow remote turn on. I'm currently using a Panamax, and everything turns on with one click of the remote.

    A cheaper alternative is to build a relay box.
