I'm thinking about buying a pair of rti6. How are they compared to the rt35i or the rti38? What would be a good price for them used? Thanks.

They'll sound great matched with a solid subwoofer.

I like 'em better than the 35's and 38's. same goes with the smaller version and it's earlier counterparts.

The build quality's better, cabinet size increase, better fit&finish (knuckle test) and no harsh tri-lam tweeter thank god. (Although I admit that many if not most here prefer the Tri-lams)

I think I am going to search for some used ones. Also would the CSi5 overpower the RTi6. How much should I pay for the RTi6 and the CSi5?

No it won't, not if they are working fronts and center as they should.
I can't help you with the price sorry, I got mine from CC, I paid $320 for the center.

the csi5 won't overpower the rti6's. search past threads for folks that have sold some. Crutchfield has them at $379 which appears to be the best price around. Used I would imagine should go around $200-250.

I have the CSi3 right now, and I've been considering moving to the CSi5. Just go audition them, because the CSi3 are amazing!

I own the RTi38, and the RTi6 sounds more forward and open. The newer line has an edge in clarity(Vifa) over the older line, but the rest is classic Polk.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I just picked up a used pair of RTi6 and a CSi5 center. All in perfect condition. I was not aware that the RTi6 had Vifa tweeters. Does the CSi5 also have a Vifa? I haven't heard the RTi38 in a while, but from what I can remember they had a lot more bass then the RTi6.

    What's a "vifa" tweeter?

Yes, the CSi5 also uses a Vifa tweeter.
