These are from the Firefox website, so no need to worry about spyware from 3rd party vendors. I figured I would post these here since some of them are really useful.
It's faster than the older versions and there are some nice new plugins.
Tiny URL creator.

FasterFox, a collection of tweaks that speed up your browser. Just make sure to set it to Optimized or you will tick off Justin. It increases the load on the web server.
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1269/
Video downloader, lets you download videos from sites that would otherwise not let you.
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/
Adblock, I hate ads.
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/10/
IE tab, lets you embed IE in a tab in Firefox. Nice if you have pages that will not display in FireFox.
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1419/
PDF downloader lets you choose to display or download a PDF file. Otherwise it just displays.
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/636/
FoxLingo, translates web pages using free translation engines.
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2444/
And my favorite, Flashblock! No more Flash ads, no more Flash popup windows, and if you want to view flash movie, just click on the image!
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/433/
IE view, lets you right click on a link and open it in IE. I use this one more than the one above that allows you to open it in a tab. Mainly because I don't need to do that very often.

Gmail notifier, great if you have a Gmail account.
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/173/
Yahoo mail notifier.
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1264/
BBcodeXtra, lets you do BBcode on PHPbb sites a little easier than the standard buttons in the editor.
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/491/
Lets you right click and paste quote anything in your clipboard. (I.E. it puts the quote tags around your text.)
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/244/
Aspell, lets you spell check from Firefox. Useful for sites that don't have spelling cow.

You most likely won't have any problems with IE if you're careful using it. It's still what we use at work. I just prefer the safer nature of FireFox at home. You're less likely to accidently have problems using it. -

I keep updated on Norton's Antivirus, Microsoft's service updates, and Zone Alarm, so things are reasonably secure. -
Until the day when you install the AdBlock extension, and nearly **** yourself at how awesome it is browsing the web without ads, and never go back to IE again.
BTW, along with AdBlock mentioned above, be sure to download the Filterset G Updater which puts all the filters for ads into AdBlock. If you will it, dude, it is no dream.
