Help with matching my SDA-2A's?
Hi all -
1st time poster, long time lurker. I've been the proud and happy owner of my SDA-2A's since 1989. Unfortunately, the time has come to replace them temporarily as my new digs and my entertainment center won't work with them because of the 2A's width; I have only 1 wall to put speakers to and it's not wide enough.
I need to get a pair of speakers no wider than 7". My plan is to buy these speakers, and use them as mains temporarily until the time comes when I can roll out my SDA-2A's again and deploy these new speakers as my rears.
My gear is all Denon - Amp, EQ, turntable, etc. I have a pure stereo 2-channel setup and I plan on keeping it that way for life - I'll never go surround as I'm a pure music lover and not into the HT thingy.
Any advice on which speakers to buy that will match up well with my SDA 2A's and will work splendidly as rears in the future? Timbre matching is important as I have a discerning ear. Thanks for all your helpful responses.

Welcome to the forum!
RTA-8Ts would be a fine match, but are 9" in cabinet width. I don't know what you'll be able to find, in vintage or new Polks that timbre match, any narrower.
