I am fairly new here but having read through a lot of posts, I hope it is okay to ask this here. My older sister is going into the hospital tomorrow morning to have tests run to determine if she will have to have a heart stent put in or open heart surgery. Of course, we are hoping it doesn't come to that but any thoughts or prayers would be very much appreciated. She was asked a lot of questions today by the cardiologist about any symptoms she might be having and she hasn't had any problems so of course we are hoping and praying this will mean good news. She was going in to have her shoulder operated on when they found some blockage which is how the cardiologist came into the picture.

All of my family live within 20 minutes of each other but I live 900 miles from home which is making this even harder to deal with. Needless to say, it's not been a good day. In addition to dealing with this, our uncle passed away this morning from cancer. Again, I hope it was alright to ask and I thank you all.

Sincerely,

Cindy

Like Frank said, we're family here.... our sympathy for the loss of your uncle and prayers sent for your older sister.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Hi! I want to thank you all so much for your kind words and thoughts. Everything turned out just fine for my sister; no stent or open heart surgery is needed. I have been extremely busy the last two days and haven't had a chance to get online until now. Again, thank you all so much for taking your time to read my message and for your kind words; I appreciate it.

    Sincerely,

    Cindy
