Found this one earlier. Awesome price with Seagate's standard 5 year warranty. By comparison, Western Digital only gives 1 year.

Get yourself a nice USB HD case and you got some great cheap storage space! Oh yeah, it also has 16mb of onboard memory compared to 8mb on most standard drives.

I've used this usb to ide converter quite a bit, very handy for adding cheap desktop hard drives to a laptop for storage (same goes for cheaper cdr/ dvdr's). Also GREAT for data recovery on non-booting systems. I've seen cheaper ones online, but I know this one works (go with what you know... ;). There's sata converters too. For IT people, a must have.

Newegg has them for $89 everyday, or $94 for the SATA version. Not much of a deal.

I trust Newegg more than any other website when ordering computer parts.

The only difference you might see between the outpost link and any you see on Newegg, is that this is a retail box product, where most of Newegg's parts are OEM products. Makes no difference to me, though :D
    Ludicrous gibs!

Another good deal site is www.pricewatch.com.

I've always had success with outpost, but in my opinion Newegg is THE place to buy computer gear online.
Fast shipping, real good prices, and absolutely no hassle returns.

Thanks for the oupost.com post, though.
