I have been invited to go on a business trip by Canada's civil air navigation services provider to visit approximately 25 Northern airport locations for the assessment of current and future communication requirements. The trip will be over a 2 week period and will go as far north as Ellesmere Island. I understand that initially the trip was to include "Alert" (Ellesmere Island), but was scrubbed at the last moment. That is the top of the world for Canada. Anyway, it should be an interesting trip in which I will have the opportunity to visit many locations that few people get to see.

TRIP #1 – August 21st – 24th (Western Arctic)
Day 1

Edmonton, Alberta
Kugluktuk, Nunavut
Cambridge Bay, Nunavut

Day 2
Gjoa Haven, Nunavut
Taloyoak, Nunavut
Holman, Northwest Territories

Day 3
Sachs Harbour, Northwest Territories
Paulatuk, Northwest Territories
Iniuvik, Northwest Territories

Day 4
Tuktoyaktuk, Northwest Territories
Norman Wells, Northwest Territories
Edmonton, Alberta

TRIP #2 – August 28th – September 1st (Eastern Arctic)
Day 1

Winnipeg, Manitoba
Thompson, Manitoba
Churchill, Manitoba
Arviat, Nunavut
Whale Cove, Nunavut
Rankin Inlet, Nunavut

Day 2
Chesterfield Inlet, Nunavut
Baker Lake, Nunavut
Resolute Bay, Nunavut

Day 3
Eureka, Nunavut
Resolute Bay, Nunavut
Grise Fiord, Ellesmere Island
Resolute Bay, Nunavut

Day 4
Kugaaruk – Pelly Bay, Nunavut
Iglooik, Nunavut
Hall Beach, Nunavut

Day 5
Repulse Bay, Nunavut
Coral Harbour, Nunavut
Churchill, Manitoba
Thompson, Manitoba
Winnipeg, Manitoba

The following link will show you a map of Canada that you can zoom into to see most if not all of the locations that I will visiting.

I think the people in the USA use the word "eh" more than Canadians. Actually, I had never heard of it until I started to go to Dayton, Ohio.
Hopefully I can take a lot of pics.

I had to look one of the locations up on a map, Eureka, as I had no idea where it was. Looks like we will be getting closer to Alert than I thought.

Practically in the Arctic? It's in the High Arctic. Cold is -40 and below. Other than that, we consider it golfing weather.:D

I've been to Canada numberous times on audits and they use the word excessively...Instead of "what", they use "eh"
