Sub volume question

I have my Adire Tumult driven by a QSC pro amp bridged. I leave the amp with both channels set at max gain. I notice that when I turn one of the channels down to 0 while leaving the other one at max gain the volume of the sub actually gets louder. It doesn't matter which channel I turn down, the result is the same. As long as one channel (either one) is maxed and the other is shut right down the sub is louder than with both wide open.
Whichever channel I do turn down the light for that channel does in fact go out. I mention this as to imply that not one volume knob would be controlling both channels when it is bridged.
Any thoughts. Is this normal? Not hooked up right?
Thanks,
Mike

Never mind. Stupid me only the first channel knob then controls it when it is bridged. Here I have been restriction the subs performance all this time:rolleyes:
