Book Shelf Speakers for Home theater

A question for the Polk technical, or others who can help. System I have is modest with Monitor 60 front, CS2 centre, Monitor 30 surround, PSW10 sub. All sounds very nice drive by a Denon 2106AVR. However need to move the Monitor 60s to another room and will use them just for music as they are a touch large where they are.

So am keen to hear what would be a good pair of bookshlef speakers to add to the home theater system as front speakers - i.e. to go with the CS2 center, monitor 30 surround, PSW10 sub.

welcome aboard mate, got the upgrade bug in ya huh, well dont just stop with the bookshelfs, turn it up a notch and go Rtis with seperate amps for the fronts and center. Monitor 40s may suffice for your application, Just curious are the 60s being moved due to lack of space or some other reason. You mention them being a touch large, can you explain? Just wondering if they are too loud, or are you feeling they are crammed in the location where they are. If you can try some rearranging to make them work, then invest in the Lsi for music if you're looking to go 2 channel

Thanks - I have the monitor 60s in one room with the sub - the Denon 2106 drives them via the biamp option. They sound really good - but lack a bit at the top wrt to clarity. But way better than what we have ever had. I just like to just sit and listen

The CS2, Monitor 30 are set-up in th next room and have ben moving the monitor 60s back and forth when playing movies. Naturally is become a bit of a drag doing this. So am looking at the options - adding the bookshelf speaker to the home theater, or taking the next step up for music. But am keen not to clutter the house with speakers
