I've been having trouble with the dialogue from my csi5...so I hope it's something i'm doing wrong. i'm wondering if it matters wich set of speaker connectors you use when hooking up the speaker, the top set or the bottom set?? also, is there any other kind of speaker cable i could use to make the dialoge sound better?? right now i'm using monster cable.

No difference in what set of terminals you connect to. (the terminals ARE connected together right???)

What does the rest of your system consist of? Does it sound better if you use a phantom center? (tell your avr center = off or none) (no need to disconnect the center for this test)

Try angling the speaker toward your sweet spot. The difference in cables should not matter that much as it's not like you are using yarn or anything. Have you calibrated your speaker levels?

Do you have the jumpers in? That might be part of your problem.

The jumpers are the metal pieces connected to each set of terminals.

yah, i just realized that you only want them off if you bi-wire...
oh well, it was a nice try..i will leave them on.
I've just ordered some monster z2 reference speaker cable for my center so hopefully that should help..
I posted this silly question in another area, but as far as the speaker cable goes, am i right in cutting off the ends of the monster cable, in order for the cable to fit into the holes on the back of my csi5??
