This might be dumb but I have a question that’s been eating my mind and I need someones advice. I currently exchanged a Yamaha rxv 2500 for the new Denon 2807. The problem is that that I got stuck with the power cord for the yamaha 2500 and sent the new Denons power cord with the yamaha. I have hooked it up and it sound great but I am afraid that down the line this might have problems. I mean if you look at a normal receiver’s power cord you will see that they are almost generic. Any advice on this Matter? TAKE into consideration that the Yamaha was 130 watts and the Denon is 110 watts. Did I end up having a stronger Power cord for the Denon since the wattage is less? Please help and I need your advice.

Best Regards:

Mario

I'd say you're reading into it to much. ;) Just enjoy the sound. If you really want, just buy a better power cord from say Signal Cable and enjoy having even more power/dynamics.

I purchased the MagicPower Video Reference and actually should upgrade as I have a new processor. You can always ping Frank at Signal and get his advice.

Frank recommended I get the "MagicPower Digital Reference" power cord for my Denon 3805, which will soon be powering my Outlaw 990 Pre/Pro.
