Sweet, I was looking around for something kind of like this for college. Definantly an option. Though this may be a bit better, would definantly get better sound quality.God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8

Totally different function......polk is portable speakers, the marantz is just to dock into the HT.comment comment comment comment. bitchy.

Oh, I know. But in a dorm, they serve the same purpose.God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8

Marantz's look promissing, it can be perfect if they can add digital out.-izafar

I wonder how it sounds....or what sets it apart from the hundreds of other sets just like this for the ipod.
There is quite a bit of competition in this arena, and they seem to be a little late to the game. Maybe thats a good thing though.Ghetto Rig
Power: HK AVR245.

Speaks: Rti4.

I don't really like the way it looks and I am seriously concerned with how it sounds. MSRP is $120 so it'll probably sell for $100 in stores. I question it's success already.Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.
Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.
Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener. -
That would be perfect for travelling, I've grown tired of hauling my Tivoli table radio and portable cdp around.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

Hey! Where's the SDA effect??
I've had this for about a year and love it for traveling:
Telescopes and folds to fit in a draw string tote. Built-in amplification. Also has "surround sound" that is highly reminiscent of the SDA sound. Doesn't charge the iPod though.

I have a few pairs of the Polk Computer speakers that were making the rounds a few years ago and I absolutely love the things. They're larger than this particular unit, but I think they should sound pretty good.comment comment comment comment. bitchy.
