Are R12 and CS350 vintage sounding?

I love the original Polk vintage sound of my Monitor 5b's. I want to put together a surround system and a guy I know is selling a pair of RT12's and a CS350 centre channel. Would the R12's and CS350 be a good match with my 5b's? I'm not sure of their age as I know Polk's newer stuff does not match the sound of the vintage stuff. Does anyone know when these were sold?
The CS350 has a different tweeter than the RT12's but he has replace the tweeter in the RT12's to match the CS350 (he is also including the original tweeters). I'm not going to be able to give them a fair listening test until I've already bought them so I just want to know what other's think.
Also what would be a good price?

Did you ever choose what you were going to do? Did you buy the RT's and the CS? I have the RT 12's and love them to DEATH! Wanna sell the original tweets? I wouldn't mind having a backup pair.
