Got the monitor 40's mounted, pics..
I used 1/2" alluminum plate, taped a 1/2" npt thread into the. Drilled holes for lag bolts. The piping is 1/2" type L copper. The plates twist, so it was easy to align on to the studs. The right surround has to go down about an inch, but I will redo it this week. I soldered copper "bar" onto the piping, and used industrial velcro to secure the speaker.
I am a plumbing contractor by trade, so this was a peice of cake.
I am recieving the Rear back monitor 40 this week to replace the monitor 30. The center channel is hung from the stud about the window. It is not touching the tv at all.
Here are the pics

Thats a pretty good idea for wall mounting. Does that door hit if you open it up all the way? It almost looks like it might from the picture.
And jesus, thats quite the desk you have there, Im jealous. I had dual monitors and a laptop once but that didnt compare to the bigass tv there and 4 xbox's. *golf clap*Ghetto Rig

doesnt hit the door. i needed to angle it cause of the door. i would have liked to just mount it like the fronts, but not possible. speakers are too big
as far as the sound goes, i am hearing sound effects that i havent heard before. sounds more "full"

haha..yea, kinda overkill. the 2 older xbox are just there to store my cd's (i copied them onto the hard drive) and one of the 360's i got for my brother, but he never plays games or uses it. I basically just listen to music on the 360, very seldom play games. -
Nice job, guess it was "no sweat", huh ?
Is that an R15 I see in the center rear ? Amazing amount of sound for such a little package.Sal Palooza -

Haha..no sweat, I get it..
Its a monitor 30, I will be getting another monitor 40 to replace it. I always wanted to have identical speakers for all channels. I always liked the way setups like that sounded. Well, the center is almost identical (cs1)
I need to get a better sub though, I am using a klh 10" (garbage). My brother has a nice 15" cht velodyne, I am trying to get my hands on that...
I have a some r15's that i will be using for my gym. -

Sounds good. I am noticing that the rear soundstage is getting louder the more I listen. The speakers are breaking in or something, or maybe its just my mind? I had the front L/R/Center at -03 on the reciever, and the surrounds set to 0. I had to increase the front stage to -01 to equal it out. I might have to angle the center down a little, and I also twisted the rears inward more to fire to the center of the room.
Oh, I did solder (sweat) all the pipes together. I used silver solder
