The Rti10's are better overall, I do like the vocals on the Rti8's better though. I have the same receiver with the Rti10's they sound great in HT. Music should sound better when you get a seperate amp.Setup:
2 Channel: Vienna Acoustics Mozart Grand, T+A P 1230R, Primare SPA21, Oppo BDP-105
PC: Vienna Acoustics Haydn Grand, Cambridge Azure 650A v2 , Peachtree iDAC, Denon DVD-3800BDCI -
Get the 10s after you have listened to them for awhile go with a seperate amp if needed, Outlaw M2200 would compliment them well. I bought the 12s and ran them on a Sony 7100es for two days, they did sound great, not bad, decided to go ahead and bi amp them with the M2200 and they sound even better. Its all up to you, the listener and of course what your wallet allows my friend.
One thing I did find out since joining this forum: HT is and can be very expensive. I never even heard of SVS until I came here.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!
