I'm experimenting on whether which one would sound better between my RXV1400 and an AKAI integrated amp in driving my RTi10. I find the AKAI sounding better than the Yamaha. It is warm as compared to the brightness of the Yammie. My question is: Is there a way to connect a power amp to the AKAI (it has no pre-outs) like "looping" it. Any ideas? Thanks.

Is the AKAI too weak? How do you know that the AKAI amplifier stage isn't the key to the warm sound that you prefer?

I think the AKAI is the key to the warm sound only that I think my RTi10 needs more power than the AKAI can produce.
