I am getting ready to build a box for my sub and the deminsions specified on this site are 15" W X 13" H and 9 1/16 D. Based on my calculations the box will have an internal volume of .72 cu. ft. The specs recommend .66. Is my math wrong or is .72 an acceptable internal volume?

Those are external dimensions.
If you use 3/4" wood that would be 13.5 x 11.5 x 7.5 which comes out to .67 ft3.
Id stick with the .66 if I were you. Manufacturer specs are usually the best way to go.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Ok so I got the box together and the internal dimensions turned out 13 9/16 W X 11 3/8 H X 7 3/4 D. Has a volume of .69 cu. ft. Is it going to sound awful being 3 hundreths off or is this acceptable?
