She's still hot! She did some collaborations with Matthew Sweet not that long ago, and it's pretty good.

There were a bunch of them .... Flock of Seagulls, Spandau Ballet, The Cure, Pet Shop Boys, Roxy Music, Dead or Alive, Simply Red, Boy George, Haircut 100, Gary Numan. Some of it was really creepy transvestite-ish kind of music, kinda like what the creep-o in Silence of the Lambs was playing when he was dancing in front of the mirror. All right there on MTV in the early '80s.
Then there was just some really strange music like Men Without Hats, Big Country, Dexy's Midnight Runners, Aha....strange stuff from weirdo fureners there for awhile.

    Good find, definitely bookmarked.

Of course, I went to "Black Sabbath".

Post Ozzy, but the "Neon Nights" was one of their better post-ozzy tunes.

Dammm, that Tony Iommi kicks heavy metal ****.

Stryper video ? Going to have to view that one. There was/is some pretty kick butt CCM out there.

http://www.dvdsmusicvideos.com/auto.php?vid=GBCos2MlQ1Y&t=S.O.D. - Speak english or die

    The group: S.O.D.
The song : "Speak English or Die"
The lyrics (in case you want to sing along):

    "Speak English Or Die!

    You come into this country
    You can't get real jobs
Boats and boats and boats of you
    Go home, you ****' slobs
Selling hot dogs on the corner
    Selling papers in the street
    Pushing, pulling, digging, sweating
Where you come from must be beat

    CHORUS:
    You always make us wait
    You're the one's we hate
    You can't communicate
    Speak English or die
You don't know, what I want
You don't know, what I need
    Why must I repeat myself
    Can't you ****' read?
    Nice ****' accents
Why can't you speak like me
What's that dot on your head
Do you use it to see ??

CHORUS - MOSH PART - CHORUS

This thread got me thinking about my cousin, Rob LaMothe, who had a video on MTV in the late 80's. Just for **** and grins I did a search on youtube tonite and sure enough there it was, The Riverdogs....
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVcHNwg1lfE&search=riverdogs

That's Vivian Campbell (from Whitesnake and now Def Leppard I think) on lead guitar. That's Rob on the vocals with a song he wrote called Toy Soldier. I remember when he was about 13 and first learning to play guitar. I think my sister Linda taught him some of his first chords.
