How big is your room...
Are you running them left and right or both LFE?
Talk about them...I want to hear your thoughts, dissapointment, satisfiedness, all that jazz...

Both LFE, stacked and corner loaded. Tried to go one on each side but got cancellations. I think room is 13x22

Lets say... I had them side by side, but like 1-1.5 feet apart...
Do you think cancelations would be high?- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

I am thinking of putting a second sub on the other side at the front also. Just don't have room for another SVS.Sharp Elite 70

That should be okay, but I'd have to sweep it to know for sure. -
since they would be running a right/left signal... do you think that would decrease or increase the odds of cancelations?- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

I am currently running dual CS Ultras co-located. There is a definite difference when adding a second sub. More headroom and the ability to run things "stupid hot" for action flicks. I am driving them with a QSC RMX2450, 1124P BFD and an SVS blackbox. I don't have any phase issues, I just use the blackbox as a subsonic filter/impedance matching device. I have good output (120-128 db when called upon) in my 5500ft3 basement, I just can't get the tactile feel I'm after as it's pretty hard to shake my concrete foundation:rolleyes:
I may upgrade in the future to dual PB2+ with the new db12.3 driver or wait to see what Tom/Ron offer as a trade-in program for my old TV-12 Ultra drivers. Word has it they are looking to up the bar for the Ultra as the new 12.3 hangs with it pretty well. Lastly, if I could get ahold of something similar to a couple of Ascendant Audio Avalanche 18's, I would consider DIY. I've already built some pretty neat stuff for a few friends so maybe it's time to build something for myself. -
I run an SVS 20-39PC+ in the front left corner, and a PB10 in the back right corner, about 4 foot from the back wall. Room is about 16 x 20. I use an Outlaw ICBM to mix the bass from the center, fronts, LFE, and side surrounds and direct to the SVS subs. I am in an apt, and I was just looking for bass at low SPL's that fills the room. Using the two subs just extends the bass across the room, and has a very nice effect at low volume levels. I don't do any sweeps, I just tweak until it sounds good!DKG999

There would be less cancellations if there is channel separation with the low notes, but when the L/R's play the same low notes at the same time, you can get cancellations. I guess it depends if the bass is separated on the source material. I know there are some fans of stereo subwoofer setups. -
1500 ft3
For the L+R signal path, I am using an active crossover. One SVS PCU is placed behind each of the L+R speakers at different room width null locations. Hookup was easy, integrating both required some time and patience.
The SSP has the front set to large, the remainder of the speakers set to small and the sub set to yes. The LFE is split and sent to each sub.
Colldn't live without the two subs. All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed, second it is violently opposed and third, it is accepted as self evident. -
Very interesting...
Keep it coming...
I may have to put another subwoofer in my system overall thats going to take place in the next year or so...
Something about having a left and right sub for music would just be better.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
I dont have SVS subs but I do have 3 subs in my system. The rear is a Polk 650, the center chanel is a Carver Knight Shadow, & the LFE (.1) is a Velodyne DD12. The rear sub is hooked up from the preout's L/R rears, left pre out plugged into the L sub input, & right preout plugged into the sub right input, the L/R speakers are connected to the receiver L/R speaker terminals. The center is the same center preout plugged into the sub using a y splitter & speaker is connected to the receiver center speaker terminal, & LFE is connected via LFE. Both the Polk 650 & Carver has its own SMS1 to splice the speaker to the sub & flatten out the curve, & all speakers are run large w/ full range sent to each speaker. I have run freq sweeps with the SMS1's & DD12 & have been able to get the freq curve as flat as my room allows. There are lows as low or lower than 20 hertz from all chanles & it has been verified with a sencore rta in my room. Yes the center chanel & surrounds do play low. I didnt beleive at first but after reconfiguring the subs & adding the sms1 to the polk & carver I have a much more dynamic system that the lows are clean, tight, & now the room has more preasure. I thaught I had a good low end but after adding the sms1's & dd12 to the system I realize that my lows were muddy & bloated. Im much more happy with the preformance I have now. Multipul subs are the way to go & if I had the room I would have a sub for every speaker but remember you need to splice the speaker to the sub for the best preformance.

Bass addiction. It ends badly. . . . the shakes during detox. . . .ringing in the ears.-Ignorance is strength - -
Hbomb has two towering SVS's in his corner. That's probably the loudest bass I've ever felt in a house.

Anyone use...
2 PC+ 20-39?
I know you probally said you did if you do - however, I am asking again. I want to know if you've heard the PCi and what you think in differences...
And if you use a SINGLE 20-39 PC+ - Id like to hear your opinion as well, along with room sizes.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

It's an excellent, crisp little sub . It does not have the SPL the SVS has but it is tiny. It hits low to 20hz +-2db. It has helped smooth out the response very nicely. I can tell that it is a bit faster and tighter than the SVS also which makes me wonder what one of the BIG Von Schweikerts might do......Hmmmmmm:pSharp Elite 70

My 2039+ is a killer for movies. In a room with one huge picture window and two open doorways the volume is never over the one o-clock position. For music it is sometimes overwhelming so I cut it back to one or two.
I'd like to try a sealed sub sometime, I hear they are a little quicker.Denon #2900, Denon stereo receiver, Conrad Johnson Sonographe 120 amp, Blue Jeans cables, and Klipsch RF-7's
