We went by the pound today and brought home two dogs-one is a rottwieller/lab mix male puppy and the other is a approx. 1 year old female lab. The original plans were to get the puppy if we got a dog at all (we saw him last weekend at the pound), but saw the female lab and really liked her too. Here are a couple pics of them. The lab is Sally, and the mix is Rex. So far, they seemed to be well behaved, but we'll see how that goes...lol

Congrats! The doggies look great. Good luck with them! Labs are very nice. That Rotlab pup has gigantic paws. I wonder how big he'll get? You're going to be buying a lot of dog food, and picking up some big doggie patties:(

Yeah, he's funny to watch-he's very clumsy right now, lol. They'll eat quite a bit for sure! I just finished grilling burgers for us, and it tortured Rex not being to eat any of the meat :p

Congrats, those look like great dogs. The pound pups seem to know they've got a second chance, and will be some of the best dogs.

It's amazing that people just throw these dogs out-they're such fun and loving animals to be around.

Yeah, they each picked a door off the deck to stand guard ;) They have a dog house, but didn't want to get in it tonight-I think they were associating it with the pound cages :( Hopefully they'll come around to sleeping in their house, or at least going in there when it rains.

Typical lab, always leaning on something or someone, too funny. You did a good thing, congrats!

    The sweet clean puppy dog.

Atta boy. Enjoy **** disposal duty.

    Cheers,
    Russ

PS, you're in trouble with Rex - look at the size of his paws already. That's going to be an eating and pooping machine. He'll **** bigger than you, eventually.

    Nice doggies.
Remember when they squat to crap, sneak in a sheet of newspaper. Once they're done fold and dispose.

We (my wife and 3 boys) adopted a siamese kitten on year ago. Then just this week we adopted another kitten. My boys for some reason are really scared of dogs. I'm glad to see you adopting like I did. I adopted from a no kill humane society. The warrick humane society in Indiana. Alot of these animals are really beatiful.
