RBH speakers?

I went to Audioholics website and clicked on the link where they have their recommended systems and just for fun I clicked on it to see what all they had. I happened to come across their pick for RBH CinemaSITE speakers. Does anybody know about these? I've been wanting to invest in something like that. After I have a room added I'm trying to go for the whole "movie theater look-a-like" theme.

Also does anybody if Audioholics picks for their recommended systems in general are very accurate as far as being the better equipment for each price range?

Hmm....really? I mean I'm a die hard Polk Audio fan, I'm just trying to broaden my horizens where I'm just a newbie. And where I just have Polk, Infinity and Klipsch to audition in WV I have to ask. I'm not really big on buying from internet just to audition and have to send them back. The first thing I buy off the net I'm keeping, straight up. So I have to be damn sure I like them. To be honest though I love the sound of my Monitor 40's as fronts, and the Monitor series is supposed to be the entry-level stuff. I'm just afraid that when we move from the apartment into a house and get a bigger size HT room it's gonna have to be louder to sound good and I'm gonna end up blowing my speakers. That's why I'm really wanting to upgrade. But I want it right now so bad I cant stand it LOL, and I've actually thought of moving back in with my grandparents so I wouldn't have any bills, just to get my speakers and stuff quicker. My girlfriend's like "stop obsessing over it and just be happy with what you got". But she doesn't understand that once you get the "Home Theater" bug inside of you, you're addicted for life! LOL I know what I need to do is concentrate all money into getting bills caught up so that I CAN get a house and actually "plan" my home theater instead of "dreaming". What I'm trying to do is complete my Monitor series setup which I've got the 40's in the fronts just need another pair for rears, the CS2 which I've got the CS1, and the 70's for fronts. So I'm like half way there already. And what I wanna do with this setup once we get our house is put in my "daddy's area" where I'll go and play my video games, jam to my music, play pool, play on the computer, etc. It'll be my "spot" as the rappers say LOL. Then I wanna build me a movie theater in my house! No joke a full-fledged movie theater like Daniel1138 thanks for the inspiring ideas man! And was thinking about going with a full LSi setup for that, powered by all Rotel.

So what do you all think about my obsession? Please no negativity, as I am very sensitive and self-conscious about my HT and my financial situation as well. Am I right to have a goal, even though it's a pretty far away goal? But, LSi for strictly movies & tv powered by Rotel everything a step in the right direction, or is there maybe something better for movies? Gimme any suggestions I'll look into everything, I'm just not gonna look at any odd shaped boxes just straight up normally built cabinets.

Well Zero yes I am pretty young (22) and this is the first time I'm out on my own and having a HT as well and it's just scared me having to provide for a family for the first time and putting together this insane HT in my house. But what I'm aiming for is a completely dedicated movie theater in one room and then in my video game room like do the Monitor series and it be my chilling spot plus where I listen to my 2-channel music as well.

I mean does it seem like a good long-term plan to have? I know it'll cost a pretty good bit of money but as long as we keep bills caught up and not overdue I think it'll happen. My fiance seems pretty supportive of my dream. But what about the Rotel mixed with LSi?

    RSP-1098 Pre/Pro
    RMB-1095 5-Channel Amp (330 watts x 5 @4ohm)
    RB-1092 2-Channel Amp (fronts) (500 watts x 2 @8,4ohm)
    RDV-1092 1080P DVD Player

Would that be pretty good mixed with the LSi series plus a projector and 100"+ screen w/sound dampening, couches, and the works?

    Josh,

You strike me as being pretty young.

Now, that comment cracks me up seeing as you just turned 24 and live in your parents basement.
