Im currently using an older Sony DVP-CX985V, 400 disc changer, Im thinking of upgrading to the Sony DVP-NS3100ES or the Sony DVP-NS9100ES player. Do you guys think this is a good move, or should I sit still and wait to see who wins the format war then get a new player. My 400 disc changer doesnt have HDMI so Im running it component video. ANy suggestions? I'm just trying to get the upgrades done. Just ordered a Marantz CC4300 to replace a low end Sony CD player as well.

personally i would do the 3100 as a Blu-Ray/HD-DVD go between. Both players have HDMI v1.1, as well as the 54mhz/216 chip, and the 3100 can be had for less than $350online. Good luck.
