Every time I log onto the Internet, it immediately takes me to a homepage that I didn't designate -- www.sysprotectionpage.com. This website acts like a virus and it has attached itself on my computer. **** are trying to sell their products.

I've run my AVG virus software along with Adaware and Spybot, but can't seem to remove the damn thing.

How do I get rid of it?

Thanks.

I had a problem a couple of weeks ago and I went to a website called Geeks to go .com and they have a step by step process you can go through and if that doesn't fix it you can post your problem and someone will help you. I went through the steps and that cleaned up the mess on my computer, I have not had any problems since.

THANKS! That did the trick. It took several anti-virus programs to kill it.

You might also consider installing Windows Defender - it is Microsoft ADware/Spyware/Anti-HiJack dingus - you can find it here:

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=435bfce7-da2b-4a6a-afa4-f7f14e605a0d&displaylang=en

It protects against home page hijacking and stuff installing into your startup registry. It's worked well for me so far...
