Saturday July 29th, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra is playing their Silver Screen Classics concert at Oregon Ridge Park in Hunt Valley MD.

It's a relatively cheap night out at $15 a ticket, but you get to see the BSO perform some awesome show tunes for 2 hours. If it is done like 2 years ago when I saw it, the entire second half is devoted to Star Wars music. Seriously, these people can play. Sounds just like John Williams conducting the London Symphony. There is a fireworks display at the end synched to the music (as best they can).
There's no need to buy tickets in advance, but I usually do to avoid the ticket line.
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and coolers stuffed with food, snacks, soda, beer, wine, whatever and have an awesome time!
I'll be there with some family, but would love to have some Polk family there to make an even bigger group.
