Integrated Options

For months I have been scrounging up a few bucks here and there to get myself a new AVR...something along the lines of Marantz or HK.
This was essentially until I saw dpiazza's thread a few weeks ago about the Onix XLS he picked up from av123. I saw his Teac A-1D in the pictures and began thinking....."wow, the only time that the Rti4's get some actual use is when I hook them up to the PC and listen to music." And now that I am home for summer they are down in the basement running HT duty on a TV that I use maybe once a week tops. So what I am seriously considering at this point is just scraping the HT idea for now and grabbing an integrated like the Teac and getting the x-sub (still havent been able to get one).
My issue now is....who makes a decent lower end integrated other than Teac? I looked at the A-1D and I like, but the only place you can find it is J&R and they slap a damn 30 dollar shipping charge on that badboy. What I would like to know is if there are some other options for me in the ~200 dollar range that I could look into. Its depressing to let those speakers just sit around collecting dust....

Heya,
Yea there were a few other options i looked at. One important thing is if you want it to have pre outs to go to a sub, or if your ok with connecting a sub via a B speaker channel in an A+B config, and using the sub's built in xover.
There was also the Pioneer Elite A-35r. Cool, and i almost went with it, but it has no pre outs, you can prorbly also find it for $150-200.
Another option i just stumbled on is the Harman Kardon 2ch Recievers, Both have a sub/pre out and arent to expensive, especially if you buy harman direct on ebay for a referb. Also they claim like 85 or 100 watts and i believer HK is pretty real with their ratings, so i immagine that would have some more power.

Good luck, let us know what you decide on.Terps Swimming!

Thanks for the ideas there Jake, very appreciated.
The Elite looks pretty sweet as well as the Teac. I guess its really what I can get the cheapest and when I can scrounge up the cash.
Haha, oh yeah. I saw your post over at Av123 a little while ago. Thats exactly why I havent gotten an x-sub yet. That would bother the crap out of me, but apparently thats been fixed with the new shipment coming.....whenever that might be. They truly have some nice stuff in that x lineup. I almost wish I had gotten the xls so I could get the matching maple xsub.Ghetto Rig
