Anyone seen the superbit DTS version of The Patriot?
I have the original version, and the picture quality is pretty decent, but I noticed some artifacts.
Could anyone describe the actual increase in picture resolution on superbit, or is it more hype than reality?
True HD (i.e., 1080i/540p) DVD's are not a reality, and HDTV actually has better picture resolution than DVDs. I heard that a true HD DVD would be at least two discs long due to the extra information they would need to cram onto it.
Any insight would be helpful.............
