What did you think about it? I played it on the PC when the demo was released and then played the demo on 360 last night. I found the PC version to be a better build but its nice to play it on a bigger screen.

I found the demo to be really cool on both platforms. They really did a good job with the Doom 3 engine plus the ability to alter gravity and the portals were really cool concepts. I was kind of turned off by the sound design but gameplay wise it seems like a winner.

Yup, same as Quake 4 its too bad they seem to just simply port it from the PC versions with minimal optimization for the 360.

I wonder what the 360s actual capabilities are...

All these PC ports dont look too good on the 360. Come on developers! Lets see some REAL 360 games!

I know man, it is highly frustrating. I fear that most if not all games that are origionally written for the PC are going to be somewhat sloppy ports but we can just hope for the best. Gears of War should run nice and smooth and we at least have a locked 30fps framerate which should really show off the power of the console being an exclusive title. However they are saing that Forza 2 is going to be locked at 60fps which is awesome news because I thought the first one was awesome. (Forza was locked at 30fps on the Xbox)

Eh, the game looks pretty good, but only time will tell if I like it. I'm not a real big Sci-Fi fan, so that's killing it. One thing that was hilarious is on the 2nd level in the spaceship there is a radio broadcast going on from Earth and it's Art Bell. I found that highly amusing.

(He does of lot of weird 'Alien' shows on the radio, or he used to. Think he's semi-retired now)

I'll DL the demo. I read about it, and it sounds like a pretty weird game.

He is semi-retired, but his show was taken over by......can't remember his name right now.
Interesting radio show to listen to; standard quota of kooks, to be sure, but interesting stuff.

    Check it out.

My roommate bought it when it came out a couple of days ago and we beat it that night. Pretty short game, I would recommend renting it.

It was like doom/half-life/soul reaver/Turok-Dinosaur Hunter combined.

Overall, I didn't care for it, it was like playing a hodgepodge of other games. I did like the songs in the jukebox, I wonder if they paid royalties for those?

They have to buy a license to use all that music. Even though the game is short I had a blast playing it. MP is abhorrently choppy though.

I do like the game, because it offers something different than typical FPS game. There are a lot of weird things going on with the environment. Rotating planes, walking upside down, sideways, etc. It's enough to make you dizzy just playing the character. I got a ways past where the demo ends tonight, and a story is definitely unfolding.

I haven't tried the Multiplayer yet.

From a gameplay perspective I would say that this game is probably just worth a rental unless you're heavily into FPS games. If that's your favorite format it's well worthy of a buy. The graphics are great and they did a pretty good job with the sound as well.

7 out of 10 for me overall.

Multiplayer can be really fun the only problem is that it suffers from some major frame rate issues.

Unfortunately you can't upgrade the 360s GPU. ;) However Prey runs like hot butter on my computer and my system is fairly ho-hum 3.2Ghz P4, X850XT 256MB, and 2 Gigs of RAM.

Alright, I've just finished the first 5 levels. This is a very cool game. I have yet to do online multiplayer, but the single player campaign is a lot of fun. Most certainly worth checking out. Its a must rent. Its just plain fun and very pretty.

Okay, this game was a blast. Very well put together. Beautiful graphics. Very fun. I can't believe I've been ignoring Madden and Dead Rising to focus on this game. Its that good.

The game makes me physically ill. WTF? I like it, but all of the rotating canvases make me want to vomit after a while. It's probably the same reason I can't read a book or play PSP in the car without getting sick. :(
