i just want to watch some tv....

i had a hit 50v710 lcd procjector from some time and i loved it alot. started to have a bit of truoble with it and it ended up being not fixable. No big deal i thought, my extended warrenty allowed me to pick out a new tv. i went home with a samsung hls5687w. 1080p, 2 hdmi inputs looks good in every showroom, etc. Anyway i am on my second one now and this one is a dud too. What are the odds. anyway not sure if i should give a third one a whirl or shell out some more for a sony sxrd (keep in mind the current sxrd does NOT allow 1080p. the new one does but is not out yet and i want o watch tv NOW) anyway just venting. like i said i just want to watch some @#$% tv.

    No luck with projection TVs - so how about a nice direct view? :D

    I just got a s6187w on Saturday and it looks fantastic. What do you mean by "its a dud"? It's not working or you don't like the way the picture looks?
