WAAAAAAA!:D Sorry to disappoint you Brett, But I believe he is married & I don't poach on another women's territory! I was just addressing him the only way I know. Now if he wants to give me his first name, that is what I will call him. Until then I'm stuck with Mr. Nightly or now Nightly!
BTW Nightly, you may call me Cathy!:Dbrettw22 wrote:To clarify, I think he was alluding to you calling him every night.......lol.Marantz AV-7705 PrePro, Classé 5 channel 200wpc Amp, Oppo 103 BluRay, Rotel RCD-1072 CDP, Sony XBR-49X800E TV, Polk S60 Main Speakers, Polk ES30 Center Channel, Polk S15 Surround Speakers SVS SB12-NSD x2 -

The Good: Special FX and Kevin Spacey. Great cinematography, costumes etc. Nice sound effects
The Bad: Everything else - week plot. Spiderman, Batman Begins and X-Men totally blows this out of the water
The Ugly: Brandon Routh
Bottom Line: This movie is one of the biggest disappointments and good for watching on a DVD where you can fast-forward most of the bull-**** parts and watch the action
Yeah I agree - he floats rather than fly!!!
I saw this on an iMax theater which had some scenes in 3D (you need to wear those glasses) which were quite neat and the sound was better than on a normal theaterDistant Dream - A New Beginning

I suspected that after a 2nd viewing I would like the movie better and I was right.
All of my original criticisms remain, especially the last 15 minutes and the timeframe (the bad, the ugly) but in all honesty those other marks against the film are simply quibbles and small potatoes. Even the chemistry between Superman/Kent and Lois was better the 2nd time around. Given it's 30 years later and a passing of the torch is simply inevitable, I'm raising the mark to a B+.
It's a good movie, go see it.
