To make some people here feel better, during a class in electronics in HS I say 50 / 50% where able to hear a TV Horizontal frequency of 15.750 kHz and that was with 16 - 17 years old.

I find it odd that most here can hear that sound of 17 kHz and we're Audiophile’s, must say something. It's like I can change speaker cables I hear the difference my wife is like what they sound the same to me look.

I hear it too, even from the next room. People look at me like I'm a freak when I tell them about it.
