I don't know who I pissed off but my car has been egged 3 times in the last month. The last time I was away and the egg cooked on my car in 99 degree heat causing some paint damage. Not to mention, now I am the one pissed and want to catch whoever is doing it and make them pay for the damage. Does anyone have advice on a wireless camera for outdoor?

    Do you have teenagers?

Thanks to my daughter breaking up with zitboy many years ago, my car got nailed quite a few times, finally got the little **** though...followed him to his house, got off my motorcycle and told him "if I see 1 more egg on my car, I'm going to come down here with a sledge hammer and destroy your car; that's a promise." He had a very nice Toyota something that mommy and daddy must have bought him.

    no problems after that...

sorry to hear you condone ruining people's property. You may not like the teen statement but it is a sad reality of who may have done it. All I care about is who is going to fix my paint, I have little hope it will be the person that did it.

Sid - sad fact is that the "egging" thing is usually teenagers! Adults bent on vengence usually use a different tactic!

A simple continuous loop camera/recorder with a night lense (if no streetlights) setup in your other vehicle either behind or ahead of your vehicle would do the trick. If you come out in the morning and have been egged, stop the tape, view it, decide whether to turn over to law enforcement. You can also get a proximity alarm that will go off when the eggs hit the vehicle. If you have reported these incidents most police forces have some camera equipment they can bring out. If all else fails, hang a target on your vehicle, with a pressure activate switch so when they hit the target (which teenagers won't give up until they do!) it triggers a camera to take a picture. A friend used this trick years ago, however the switch activated a serious of flash-bang pots, the culprits were so blinded he had to lead them to his porch to set and wait for an LEO to show up.
