Night Watch

I got this one from NetFlix last night, and I have to say it was decent. It probably would have been better if I could understand Russian and listen to it with the original voices. The overdubbing for English wasn't all that good (is it ever?).
In any event -- it's interesting to see a movie that had a little bit of money sunk into it coming from another part of the world. I wouldn't say this one is really creepy or anything, but it's definitely interesting. I would reccomend a rental if you're at all fan of the horror genre.

I also had a really hard time following it because of the crappy subtitles. The movie was very visually interesting though. My friend Sveta from the Mother country says that Night Watch is basically their Lord of the Rings.// Panasonic AE8000 // Pioneer SC-57 // Polk Audio RTi A9 // Polk Audio CSiA6 //

The last movie I watched in subtitles was Das Boot....and the last movie I'll watch in subtitles, ever.
My buddy is a Night Watch fan, but he likes to read when he watches a movie.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
I bought it Tuesday and don't recall seeing any subtitles. It was pretty cool, visually. The story left a bit to be desired, but I guess things could have been lost in translation."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,
CAUSE I SPEAK OF THE POMPITIOUS OF LOVE" -
Overdubbing...subtitles, whatever it is, it won't be here. I'm too dumb for movies like that.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Just watched it! Wow. Quite a film. Totally unique. Didn't quite follow everything, but I don't think the story is even half completed... 2nd and 3rd will be a must see for me.
Terrible dubbing, awesome soundtrack. Great special effects... some very original ideas and scenes. I really enjoyed it.
Definitely need to see again to understand everything, but still enjoyable for me.Honoured to be, an original SOPA founding member
