Just won this Marantz 1060 on ebay for a mere 50.00.

Its in minty condition and came with the original double box, manual, and schematic diagram. Right now ive got it hooked to a pair of R20s and am shocked at how good it sounds. Definitely glad i went for it.

No shock on this end. The 1060 was/is a tremendous little integrated. I used mine in 1977 to power JBL L100 Century speakers and it rocked.

I just picked up a mint model myself last year for old times sake.

Yea i was eyeing it on ebay for a while. It seems 50 bucks is a steal, especially since it was local and i picked up to save on shipping.

I had the same amp powering 2 sets of Smaller Advents with tremendous results. I almost picked one up last year, locally.

Nice little amp with excellent build quality. I purchased one of those new in 1976. I had a Thorens turntable, a Rotel tuner and a pair of Pioneer HPM 60's hooked up to it. My cousin now owns it and it still works and sounds great. Good score!!!!!!

I think it's cool that it was so complete, including original box and schematic.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

It looks about as clean as one could ever expect from a 30+/- year old piece.
