One of the tweeter is broken. I bought it in 1980. Is it a SL1000?

No, that's a Peerless type Polk tweeter, not an SL1000. The Ebay certainly looks like the right choice, but I've never seen a black bezel SL1000.
The picture you supplied in another thread shows a Peerless tweeter.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
Mark to the rescue. Does he have two different tweeters? He may be better off replacing both with the new silk tweets.

I think the picture angles makes them look different. Unfortunately he can't use the replacement tweeter as a drop-in....the frame is larger and won't fit in the Peerless cutout. He should just buy the Ebay tweeter you found earlier.
