    Sweet, why can't they show stuff like that on the evening news. I mean, if you could watch a 2-minute segment on all the good stuff that's happening over there, would you turn it off?
    There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

    Shouldn't have anything to do with left or right leanings. It should just be reported.

    Nice video, it shows that soldiers are human and capable of kindness, interaction, and joy. All qualities that don't make "good news".

    This is kind of a reflection of the "slippery slope" argument in the football quarterback helmet thread -- once you go a particular direction, there's a tendency to go too far. While I think the most of the press is definitely left leaning, most of the public knows better.

    Yep,

    That's why I don't think things are so bad. Fox still has more viewers than all the other cable networks. And Rather is out 'cause no matter what story he fabricated, he couldn't deliver an audience. I have faith in America to know what's what in the end.
