Looking for recommendation for surround speakers
I am using the LSi7's and LSiC for the fronts. What would you recommend for surrounds? I would like to keep them small and I don't want to spend as much as I did on the 7's. Should I be looking at the RT or the Monitors?

welcome.
another pair of 7's. -
$325 is never too much for 7's, but it always seems like you hear about them after they are sold!!! $300 is about the price I would spend on a pair.
Now really, are 7's necessary for surrounds, or is it just overkill and a waste of a good speaker?
Is there anyone who used a less expensive surround speaker, and then upgraded to a higher end model and said "Holy cow, I can't believe what a huge difference it makes!"
Note that I said "surround" and not main.
Would like to hear some thoughts and opionions. -
Check my recent post in the thread "Going to build an LSi System... again...."
I am very happy with my "new" system. I listened to the 7's for 3 1/2 years, so my comments are based on that experience. I highly recommend all the Lsi speakers, but to me, the surrounds give me that "I am in the middle of this movie!" not just the sound coming from the left/right side or rear. 7's will be doing duty in a dedicated (other room) 2 channel system. Just my 2 cents.
