A while back Chris sent me some Audioquest speaker wire. I think it's Audioquest. Anyway, I sent him off an email and have not heard back and I want to put it to use, finally.

I have about 56', it is roughly 3/8 of an inch think with a medium blue outer jacket, which is unlabled. Inside are 10 (looks 16gage) wires, 5 black and 5 red, solid core.

I looked on AQ's website and found nothing.

I was wondering if I can bi-amp my mains and center with it. Using 3-wires for the drivers and 2-wires for the tweeters, anyone?

I can take some pics and post'em tonight if needed.

Peace Out~:D

    Get yer pic on!!!!

Although aren't audio wires usually braided??? Solids are mainly for video in my experience and digital coax, Ten wires would make a great set of Component Video and a Coax Digital. and still have two wires to play with... or a custom wire run for S-video one for send one for recieve. the possibilities are endless...
The probibility of someone watching you is directly related to the stupidity of the action in question.

Man, That doesn't look like anything I have ever seen.... You sure you were told it was intended as speaker wire? I know some manufacturers like Kimber, will use a mix of solid-core and braided, but I've never see 100% solid core wire, for speaker cable.

Is it as 'rigid' as it looks? (the wire Ron, the wire)

    Cheers,
    Russ

Yes, the WIRE is rigid. Guess I'll have to wait and see if Chris responds to my email.

Looks like power cable to me. It sure as hell doesn't look like any AQ speaker cable. Not saying don't try it, but I don't see that adding, and maybe possibly taking away from your rig......
