Guys,

Sorry to ask... I am about to buy a pair of Polk RC80i inwall (ceiling actually) for my studio, in which I have my TV (traditional WEGA), Direct TV and DVD.. The question is.... what amp should I be buying to connect the speakers? Is it worth it?

I have seen the BOSE, POLK and Infinity, does anyone can recommend me?

Thanks!!
Juan

It depends on your budget and preference. Do you want to eventually go for a home theater where you have surround sound (5.1, 6.1, 7.1) or did you want to stick with two channel for music, movies, video games and all that stuff? If you can think of what you're willing to spend on this little adventure it should help us a lot to recommend something that would suit you. Right now it's at the stage of asking "okay I want to buy a car, whats good?".

    Welcome to the forum.

    jeje..

Well as this is the second room where I sit and see movies some time... I just need something for what you are saying.. movies (sometimes), music, video games... with a nice and crispy and bass sound.

    Do you get it?

    Thanks!!

so are you just wanting to power the two in celiings? Are you wanting to add speakers to make a full surround sound setup or just two speakers? You asked about amps and then you say you've seen bose, polk and infinity. Those are speaker companies.
