Hey all,

I got my system set up with the adcom amp and using the Luxman receiver as a preamp, but have one minor issue so far. That is, the Luxman does not have a remote control. So, I'd like to get some suggestions on a cheaper remote-controlled preamp. Anyone?

Thanks,

Noah

My buddy has a Nakamichi CA-5 pre that works great in his two channel rig. It can be found on ebay for about 100.00 or so. Sometimes cheaper. There is one that is ending in about an hour (looks a little worn though), and doesn't have a remote. If you have to have a remote, then the CA-7 is a solid pre.

edit: Guess I should of read your posting all the way through. Looks like you already have one w/ out a remote......

This should be interesting to hear what people recommend here as I am looking as well...

I am thinking of Rotel RC1070 or getting a RA1060, using the preamp section while using the amp for a zone 2....I have been using my X202ES cd player directly into my amp and want to use my modified Music Hall instead...

What about that TEAC integrated unit that had preouts?
