Okay, this is driving me nuts.
Thumbing through the marital arts movies at Best Buy tonight, and I got to thinking about a martial arts movie I saw on TV back in the late 70's or early 80's.
Basic premise of the story was an old guy (martial arts expert) is trying to get a young baby back to its mother. I can't remember how he wound up with this baby, but it was his duty to return the child safely to the mother in another province. For some reason, bad guys were wanting to kill the child.
The old guy puts the child in a wheelbarrow and starts out on his long trek to return the child. Bad guys intent on killing the baby show up along the way, and some very good action sequences result.
Bad description on my part, but the movie is very, very good. Sort of a classic underdog martial arts picture, not unlike "The Blind Swordsman".
Anybody have an idea of what movie I'm referring to ? There might be prizes for anyone who can come up with the name !!!
......okay, I made that last part up. No prizes. But if I don't figure this out, I may wind up on the roof with the deer rifle !!

you might be thinking of Shogun Assasin aka Lone Wolf and Cub..although the plot does not quite match ..
