I heard that Polk was coming out with a higher end LSi series that used
the same tweeters but with larger drivers ( 6.5 instead of 5.25 )...

I am particuarly interested in upgrading the LSiC and would love to have
even better towers than the LSi15s ( without powered subwoofers since
    I already have a Velodyne HGS-15x )...

    COMMENT:

Im planning on taking advantage of the sale at Crutchfield on a 7.1 LSI series HT speaker system. They asked me to contact you to find out when your sale will be ending on these speakers. I also would like to find out if polk has any plans to update the LSI series or if it might be in the works for the near future... Thanks...

    POLK:
Hi, the promotion ends today (June 20th). It is up to Crutchfield if they are willing to extend the offer or not. Anyway, the LSi system will not be touched within the next 2 years at the very earliest.

So it will be some time before the new LSi come out? Cool.... the current ones are solid enough.
