this is what is going in the car

i don't want to overdue it but need some advice as to if the setup will work

Jeep Cherokee 2001

Front - POLK AUDIO MOMO MMC5250 5.25" COMPONENT
Rear - POLK AUDIO DB525 5.25"
Back - XJ-Pod w/Polk Audio MOMO MM2084DVC
Amp - POLK AUDIO C400.4

i believe for the front only the 5.25 will fit
i think i can fit 6.5 in the rear but not sure
and for the sub , i only wanted one 8' that fit in the side panel xj-pod

any help would be great!!!!

You may want to get a dedicated sub amp. You can run all 4 speakers off the front channels and the sub off the rear but then you lose the ability to fade and adjust between the front and rear.

HU power is pretty crappy. That 20 watts RMS is usually at about 15% distortion!

You will be much better served getting a dedicated subwoofer amp.

You can run the rears off the deck if you want to tho, no law against it its just I think its always better to never use HU power if you can help it.

If youre going to do that then make sure you put the fader far to the front so you dont hear the crappy rear speakers.

Ad for adjusting, just start somewhere and go from there. The right way is different with each car, component and listener. What's right for me may not be right for you.

I wouldnt. Since youve got a good passenger hauler Im sure it would be nice to have some tunes back there.

From the drivers seat tho, your best SQ will be with fronts only.
