EQ setting from HT to 2 channel

I have an onkyo 803 ht reciever with rti12's for fronts powered by 2 audiosource amp 300's, (470watts each). For HT I use my pb10 sub. When I did my original set up with the mic, it set the woofers in the rti's to -6dbs and eq eq settings to 200hz. This sounds great for HT, but when I listen to music I would rather not use the sub instead the full range of the rti 12's. Is there an easy way to do this. I know how to change to manual EQ settings but I wouldn't know where to set all the different freq's. Any suggestions?
Brian

Hi Brian,
Welcome to Club Polk!:).
I used to have an Onkyo receiver and the easiest way is to get to the bass management settings and simply set your "subwoofer" to "off". This should send full range signal to your RTi12's.
You have a great system btw. -
Thanks for the reply Organ, Question?
By setting the sub to off, will my eq setting be correct for music?Onkyo 803 reciever

When you set the sub to off, the eq settings should be bypassed. Or if you have "direct stereo" feature, it should be pretty much the same thing.

most Onks have a setting called Direct, this will automatically by-pass the units sub output as well as other dsp, its generally held as the best way to listen to music with an Onk receiver. All information will be output through the left/right front rca jacks.
