Is this an option that can be added so we can send messages directly to another forum member?

BTW, Justin, did you get my email a couple weeks back with the updated Green Room pics?

    Now I could be worng... but if you add someone as a "buddy" you can then PM them from your profile page...
    Nope, it is turned off. If you notice on your buddy list, under profile, there is a PM option, clicking on that should open up a window kinda like AOL's IM. Justin has it dissabled:confused:

    It's not like AOL's IM. It just stores your message in a database and sends the other person an email. Save yourself a step -- send an email :)

    OK, fine, it is similar to IM. It's an instant way of communicating between members. But it uses this forum as the data base. So, if I sent a message to someone, when they log on an icon will pop up telling them of the message waiting, of if they are already logged on, it will pop up on screen the second I send it. It's cool, better than email.

    As for live Chat etc... How hard would a MiRC chat or a Java Chat be for here Justin?? If that is too much<seriously> we could always make an AOL IM Chat room for Polk.
